Bajaj Auto gross sales fell 15% year-on-year in January 2022


Bajaj Auto Restricted launched its gross sales figures for the month of January 2022. The corporate noticed a decline in gross sales throughout all segments, and because of this, shares began declining in as we speak’s buying and selling.

General 2-wheeler gross sales for the month of January 2022 stood at 3,23,430 items as towards 3,84,936 items in January 2021, a decline of 16% year-on-year.

For industrial autos, the corporate reported web gross sales of 40,013 items for January 2022 as towards 40,263 items in January 2021, indicating a decline of 1%. Home industrial automobile gross sales stood at 14,160 items as towards 13,353 items, displaying a development of 6% year-on-year.

The corporate’s YTD (April-January) gross sales for industrial autos stood at 3,94,030 items as towards 2,85,252 items within the earlier corresponding interval, registering a development of 38% YoY.

Bajaj Auto stated total gross sales of each two-wheelers and industrial autos declined by 15% year-on-year, whereas YTD gross sales for each grew by round 14% year-on-year.
